Wickedly Cool Jewelry

Even though this is kinda in the vein of those Twilight movies (sorry, bad pun!) and I'm not into Twilight 1, 2 or 3 - give me Count Dracula over what-ever-the-heartthrob-of-the-movie-is-called any day) this is some wickedly cool jewels to be sporting around the neck!

The Crafty Penguin: Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies with Glace Icing

Cookie Time! Super Easy Sugar Cookies

After going through various recipe books trying to find a simple and easy cookie recipe I came across a recipe for sugar cookies - what could be easier?!

Throw in a bucket of Halloween cookie cutters, some simple icing and this was a wonderful way to spend an evening... making sugar cookies!

As a treat for my co-workers I made some sugar cookies. As with most offices many of us gather in the kitchen in the morning to say hello and find out what everyone is up to and how things are going - very informal.

It was suggested I get some Christmas cookie cutters and do the same recipe for December... I think not!

Halloween Blocks

I'm not sure if this project would be something I can do without supervision... I'm not great at using Mod Podge - it's a bit gooey and I have a hard time with waiting for it to dry!

A place to sit

I really must learn to take photos during the day and not at night.  The light (or lack thereof) makes for not such a nice photo.  Every pianist needs a nice bench to sit on while they entertain others with their talents. And our pianist will be quite comfy on this bench!

Since we put so much work into making the haunted organ we couldn't just settle for a "nice" bench - it had to be awesome - and I think we found just that in this bench at a local shoppe.

The large pumpkin on the left was something we bought last weekend and we may or may not use it as intended.  It hooks up to your fog machine (doesn't everyone have one of those?) and the fog spills out onto the ground from the mouth of the pumpkin.  We also tried setting a small candle inside and in the dark this pumpkin gets A+ for spooky!  Either way this pumpkin will definitely add to our haunt this year.

Ahem, please pardon the slippers partially hiding under the bench - I didn't notice they were there until I starting writing the text for this post!  My bad!
