The countdown is on...
It is fourteen days until Halloween. 2 weeks. Amazing.
The invitations have been handed out and our guests have been hemming and hawing about what costume to wear. The Boney Hand Award is up for grabs this year (plus we have some take home trophies for previous year winners).
Our pumpkin patch has been harvested and it was a very poor season - two small pumpkins only! I blame the squirrels for digging in the garden and the cats for using it as an outdoor litterbox.
The decals for the hearse are now all on, plus our Zombie Research Society stickers, and it looks wicked! I'll have photos to share in the next few days.
We haven't finalized our costumes yet, mostly because we are having a hard time actually getting the bits and bobs needed to complete them. We've travelled to a few of those Halloween stores that pop up for the month of October only to be greatly disappointed. This weekend will be our final attempt at getting the finishing pieces for our costumes, or we'll have to fall back onto Plan B.
Have you got your costume? What about decorations - have you put up tombstones or skeletons or ghosts to welcome trick-or-treaters? You only have 2 weeks to get kitted out, so get busy :)
