Now that October is finally here...

I've been patiently (hah!) waiting for October to arrive because I did take some new photos (and still have more to take) to share on this blog.

We re-arranged a few things and added to our collection (but there are still are a few things left to obtain).  One project that we need to finish off the new 6 feet tall pillars which will be the main gates to our graveyard outdoor haunt scene this year.

A few days ago we put up the iron gates which outline the graveyard.  To start things off check out these photos from last year...

We've been waiting and counting the days, and now, it's here!

Today marks the first of the best month of the entire year - OCTOBER!!!! The party invitations are almost complete - this year we're going to use "regular" card type invites (last year I created a 'magic box' invitation) but of course they aren't normal - once they have been been given out I can share them... don't want to spoil the surprize for those who will get one in their mailbox.

Candles are always a great way to bring a bit of style into a room and for a party they are an inexpensive way to bring your theme to life. Check out these fun Halloween candle ideas that I found using Google...

Today is the final day of summer, according to my calendar. It's drizzling outside and a bit chilly. Yes, AUTUMN is here!!!! And you know what that means... Halloween is just around the corner. In fact, today marks 40 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN!!!
