The Tour Ends...

And I think I'll end the tour with a close up of Floyd Jr. and Roach.
They are sitting at a wrought iron table and chair set that we found at a garage sale over the summer. Don't they look snazzy in their sweaters?!

You may remember that last year we built a haunted pipe organ for our outside display on October 31st... now it sits in our living room/dining room area and will not be moved outside this year. There are a few new pieces on it, next to it and the addition of the flying bats on the wall really make it stand out.

And finally, this was my sweetie's costume last year... he painted it himself and did a damn fine job.  This year he bought himself an authentic latex body shell and it is being professionally painted... so similar costume, The Predator, but the new costume is way nicer!
...and for those of you who are wondering, yes those are skulls on the floor (didn't you see the Predator movies?!)

The Tour Continues... Part II

A little more of the tour...

Here is our dining room table.
The very tall guy hidden by the chandelier is Nemesis.

Seated at the table are Floyd, Oberon, Porter and Horace.
Porter and Horace are the smaller skeletons.

And this is Oberon.  He loves his hat!

And this is Horace.
The nice thing about having skeletons at your table is that they NEVER complain about what you make (or don't make) for dinner!

The Tour Begins...

Shall we begin with a quick tour of our Halloween home?

Welcome!  Help yourself to some candy... Shroud won't bite he just looks menacing to keep you from taking all the candy!

Our fireplace has changed a bit sine 2010.  Now it is flanked by skulls and bats and our Death Certificates are framed and up (I made them for the summertime Halloween party).

A close up of our Angel of Death which sits on one side of the kitchen island.  The black candles are all battery operated and give off an eerie orange glow.

Come back tomorrow for more of the tour...
